10 Ways to Overcome Negative Thinking and Renew Your Mind!~

Is it true? Not all of our thoughts reflect reality!

Did you know that we can generate up to 60,000 thoughts each day? This is quite astonishing, my friends!

Therefore, we must actively work on controlling negative thoughts.

How can we implement this practice in our daily lives?

  • Recognize that we are in a battle, but God is our helper.

  • We must consistently practice taking our thoughts captive and make it a routine.

  • Take a moment to pause instead of getting caught in a spiral of negativity.

  • Identify ungodly truths or areas of past trauma by working with a counselor and or a mentor.

  • Challenge the thought... Is it true?

  • Engage with the truths found in the Scriptures.

  • Play uplifting worship music loudly to drown out the enemy's distractions.

  • Maintain connections with others rather than isolating yourself.

  • Be open to seeking prayer and assistance during times of significant distress, anxiety, and depression.

  • Practice Self-care and journaling

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8
